As Osberstown is located in the heart of the Thoroughbred County, it’s no surprise that we are all keen racing fans, especially when it comes to the premier racing event –the National Hunt Festival in Punchestown.
For the second year, Osberstown were delighted to sponsor the Osberstown Developments Handicap Hurdle which was the third race of the day on Wednesday, 23rd April. Galloping home to win was “Got Attitude” ridden by B.J. Geraghty.
This year, Naas Town Council supported by Osberstown Developments, also brought the festive atmosphere back into the town of Naas, with a two day Mardi Gras style event. The street festival saw live bands and entertainment plus the return of the age old pot-bellied pig race to the streets of Naas. It is envisaged that the street event will grow over the next 5 years and will add to the race festival in Punchestown.
